C*: C Lang Sucessor

C*[C-Star] is a successor language to C, which allows quick rewrite of existing C Code to a more memory safe platform along with modern language features [ range based loops/Hash Maps...]. It specifically designed  to provide Type/Spatially safe C like Language with Sufficient Level of Temporal Safety without hampering development efficiency with a borrow checker. C* employs manual memory management with Arena allocator. C* like C ensures complete freedom to the programmer, instead of taxing development velocity.Performance optimization and memory management is left up to the  programmer.

It guarantees sufficient level of memory safety without bogging down the development velocity,it archives it through radically different memory architecture in comparison to competition.Every Data Type with more than one element is bounce checked by default thus preventing Spatial Memory Errors, Implicit Type Cast is done in safer way to prevent Type Corruption.

Any Experienced C  Developer can get hold of C* with in days, C* is very close to C which prevents a developer from learning new language with steep learning curve. 

C* can enforces Spatial and Type Safety, but it is up-to the developer to archive reasonable level of temporal safety with the tools provided by the language. C* like C or Ada follows a manual memory management architecture, this empowers developer with unmatched control over Physical hardware, .Arena allocator of C* simplifies lots of it but in some cases C-Style manual/dynamic memory allocation might be necessary. Temporally/Spatially Safe C equivalent of malloc/calloc/free/realloc/memmove are present for exceptional cases and porting legacy C application with some performance penalty.

Object Oriented Routines: C* doesn't aims to be C++ , rather provides simple Classes and Inheritance with own model of dynamic polymorphism to allow superior abstraction in comparison to C. Object Oriented Features are optional.

Advance Manual Memory Management + Architecture  : It uses Advance Thread Safe Arena allocator with Encrypted Pointers to make exploiting Temporal Memory bugs harder for  attacker, with performance far superior to legacy free/malloc. Hardened version of Arena exist where Temporal safety is paramount over the performance.

[Hardened C Function like malloc/calloc/free/realloc/memmove are present but hardened with Hard-pointer, to ensure temporal safety but their are performance penalty in comparison to their C equivalent, it is recommended to use AMMM+ semantics for C* application written from Scratch] 

*You can combine C* Code [.CXX/HXX] and modern C++ [.CPP/.HPP] seamlessly in one project, Clang Fork of C*(C-Star) will look after combining your C* and C++ seamlessly. This allows Safety Enforced C* Code to work flawlessly with High Performance Modern C++ Code.

Destination: Destination Pointer , Ptr Arithmetic is not allowed.

MSME/Startup sector will be key to archive this goal, GoI must proactively find CSE/IT/ECE engineers who are unemployed & make a year long Diploma Program with IISC Bangalore along with Current students in University around the country to create at least 1 million Semiconductor Design Talent by 2030 who will be able to code IP Core in Verilog,HDL etc. Logics can be simulated with modern EDA tools & FPGA. Indian companies must own 90% of High end IP Core & EDA Tools , even if developed it as outsourced project of foreign client still Indian entity must own the IP jointly. If India can repeat what Taiwan did in Design, owning 60% IP Market & 90% of High End Design IP Core, It will become impossible for Globalist to sanction India. Strength of India is Design of IP and we must excel in that. A true Vishwaguru in IP Design rather becoming VishaCoolie of MNCs.

Generic discrete Components like MOSFET, BJT,Diode, SIC Power Devices, MCU & Microprocessor, Chipset of Motherboard,USB C Charging, Audio Amplifier, Automotive Radio Tuner IC, DAC, ADC, NIC Chips for LAN/WLAN, other auxillary IC, PV Cells, Sodium Ion/Aluminium Ion Battery, Components used in Inverter & SMPS power supply. These can be indiginized far easily than let say a 7nm Cutting edge CPU or GPU.

India must setup state backed fables companies for High end HPC CPU,GPU , AI & Neural Network Accelerator for Cloud Computing & Exascale Computing, we must not depend on AMD,INTEL & Nvidia for highend application specially in Public sector. It is well known American hardware comes with built in backdoor like Intel ME. Design right is essential , High-end Hardware can be manufactured for now in TSMC or Intel Foundry with 2nm or lower node until we have our own EUV/X-RAY Lithography system. SOC for Smartphone , Tablet & SmartTV, Processor for Laptop must be indiginized though of less strategic importance yet it will save a lot of Forex.

OLED , IPS MiniLED Display, Quantum DOT OLED ,Lens of Camera Module, NAND Flash , DRAM , HBM Memory, Next Gen Storage like ReRAM,FeFet must be indiginized , big player like Samsung also started with Display & memory devices.

India must become one of largest producer of compound semiconductor devices like SIC Mosfet & GAN HEMT , this field we don’t need to import technology, SSPL of DRDO already have production grade technology. QWIP/QDIP IR Detector for Military Application specially have to be looked at.

India must become global leader in Photonics Intregated Circuit, from design & fabrication for photonics application like Optical Computing, Communication, LIDAR, Microwave Photonics , LIFI and other application like Quantum Computing.

India must lead in Optical Quantum Computer, Quantum Sensing, Cryptography , Simulation & other. By 2030, India must not lag behind China in these field, by 2040, Whole World must be at least a generation behind India, Quantum Supremacy will ensure absolute strategic Dominance.

India today is between Rock & hard place , and such situation can only be prevented in future by indigenization of Semiconductor Manufacturing tools, specially involved in higher end node. India needs to work smart, owning key IP is key, unlike China we don’t need to make anything and everything. India needs to focus on having own DUV ILINE Stepper with Superior 22nm Resolution for mass volume 14/10nm FinFet Process & 6.7nm Wave Length based EUV lithography Scanner designed for 7nm/ 2nm & lower nodes having higher resolution than ASML High-NA EUV.All of these can be archived , what really need to mastered is Optics, Soviet Union was leader in Optics and Russian Federation still have those know hows & whys, Russian can be roped in for Optics specially when they themselves are denied Semiconductor Technology. Rosatom is working on X-Ray lithography tool and we need to collaborate with them in optics.DRDO [Solid State Physics] & BARC [Vast Experiences in X-Ray & Laser Source] must work with BEL/BEHL to come up with Indian Superior DUV & EUV lithography tools. These 14nm / 10nm nodes must be designed keeping radiation hardening in mind for Aerospace Application.

Lithography is only part of the process, Chemicals & other equipment needed for 14nm Node and lower must be indigenized, including Etching, Ion Implant, CVD,PVD,ALD, Inspection and Metrology, Assembly & Packaging , Testing. These lower end of spectrum must be indigenized with Private Industry & Academia.

Machine Tools needed for PCB Fabrication & Assembly must be jointly produced in India with Japan.

Lastly it might not Sound fancy, in next 6yrs,India must indiginize Passive Components like Resistor & Capacitors of very high Quality.

If this plan is followed, India will become leader in Electronics from high-end Super-computing Hardware , Quantum Computing , Power Electronics to PCBA , this will cement India as leading destination for electronics design & manufacturing in this century, Japan of 1980s will repeat in India today, their will be no plaza accord to stop India in her goal of archiving full Spectrum Dominance with Electronics.

Hybrid Farming: Nutrients and Irrigation Part-II

 Straight to business

 Drip irrigation is essential to follow either of this method, drip kits are now cheap  so dont make excuses , drip saves water and prevent water wastage , washing of top soil.

Macro Nutrient: NPK: 

During  soil preparation , add manure lots of it , don't throw or burn your crop residue , add them to soil

NPK is major nutrient for your plant,

if you are willing  to go full organic:

here for you, 

Nitrogen: Compost/Manure

Phosphorus: Rock Phosphate 

Potassium: Potash Muriate

every 21 days , provide roots with Azotobactor Chroococum so that nitrogen fixation continues ,via drip irrigation, use 2 to 3 ml per litre 

If you see no result , try giving Potash and Phosphorus Solubilizing bacteria.

 

People fine with Chemical fertilizer:

 go for water soluble fertilizer , like NPK 19:19:19 when foliage is growing and use  just 2 to  3gm/litre, provide your plant every 21 days. 

every 21 days , provide roots with Azotobactor Chroococum so that nitrogen fixation continues ,via drip irrigation, use 1 ml per litre

dilute mono-potassium phosphate 2gm/litre during flowering and fruiting phase  via drip every 21days.

Micro Nutrients: [Dont use in organic farming] 

These are essential for strong plant immunity

Iron[Fe]:  Most important of micro-nutrients , many leaf disease may look like fungal but are due to lack of Iron , use 6% Chelated iron supliment , 1 to 2g/litre in drip system every 40days, 

Essential Micro nutrient supplement : get micro-nutrient supplement with  Mg,Ca,Zn,Cu,B,Mo,Co , make sure EDTA chelated , use 1g/litre of water and give it every 40days.

Bio Stimulants:

Seaweed Extract: Use 1 to 3ml per litre over drip every 11days , these seaweed contain plant hormones that makes plants grow more roots, flower and produce more leaves further enhances immunity in plants. 

Humic/Fulvic Acid:  use 2 to 3g/litre , Fulvic acid and Humic acid , these compounds increase nutrient intake ,drought tolerance , water infiltration , aeration, chelating minerals. 

Keep these two product , for small scale or home growing of veggies is enough. 

If you a commercial farmer , you can look at organic fruiting hormones that helps in fruiting and flower thus improving yield by 20 to 40% , Chaste Berry and Goose Berry based extracts works as miracle.You can use natural rooting hormones  too for faster robust root development.

Hybrid Farming : Killing the Chemical killers. Part -I

 In farming world , their two types of people , one is who will put GMO, throw all carcinogenic chemicals and making everyone slowly die and another type is stone-age agriculturist who believe hybrids are bad , all chemicals bad , even adding microbes from outside is bad . 

Well reality lies somewhere in between , something i would like to call as smart farming , combining best of organic with best of safe technology .

I would  like share some technological & organic farming practices that i used in my own garden:- 

While handling microbes and botanical solution use gloves mask and safetly glasses. If you under immunosuppresive disease or drug avoid handling anyform of biological solution and agents.

Insecticide:

Using Chemical insecticide is mad man's game , not only it harm to us humans it destroys  ecosystem [it kills useful insects like Bea's and lady birds ]. It destroys soil and water , causes cancer in humans. 

Neem doesnt kill Bea and Lady bird but kill bad guys like Aphids, 

shall we let insect eat our food then? Answer is absolutely not , we can use biological control agent like Neem and Pongamia oil based extract , good bacteria that safe for us but kills insects. 

Remember to spray every 14 to 21 days to have a protective layer depending on your situation , 

Only Neem oil is not enough if pest are invasive, Azadirachtin extracted from neem is far more useful , for protection spray Azadirachtin  1500PPM every 14 days as instructed by your local agricultural expert , use 10,000PPM if your garden is taken over by hostile pest in every 7 days as per instruction

Fungicide:  

Neem extract act as an amazing fungicide , you already done 90% job my friend , but if fungal problem persist ,use other control agent

 In my garden the main problem was root rot due to over watering caused by rain , in such cases soil mixed with Trichoderma Viridi , it colonizes roots of plants and eat out other fungus and produces useful compounds essential to plants. Another Fungus which is useful to plant is mycorrhiza which help plants to take more micro-nutrients from soil. If you face other problem related plant's consider experimenting by spraying highly dilute [2ml/per litre] of Trichoderma Harzianum , AmpelomycesQuisqualis can be used in case of powdery mildew. 

mycorrhiza  must be introduced to soil few weeks before Trichoderma , best is use mycorrhiza  in seed treatment or while growing sapling  for transplantation,

Before treating soil with bio control agent , it is advisable to get rid of unwanted pathogens in soil for first time user with agricultural lime dust , it is recommended to consult your local  agricultural expert regarding the doses , then add powdered neem seed cake and  pongamia seed cake powder in little amount , then cover and leave the soil for few weeks. 

You can use any one kind of biological control agent  for fungus or use consortium of all to spray depending on all what available in market. 

Pseudomonas Fluorescens can be introduced as an AntiBacterial agent to make sure soil is living only with strong root system , it also produces  phytohormones

Herbicide: Are you insane ? Why you need that? While tilling the soil ,just crush unwanted plants as extra manure, then grow veggies like Spinach and Coriander in free space , that will fast grow and not allow any space for unwanted plants to grow , not only act as herbicide but act you get extra vegetable , now even you can grow ginger and turmeric under soil to act as layered farming. Now not only you growing chilly or tomatoes but you are growing spinach and ginger , you not only saved money from herbicide ,  not only saved yourself from health hazard but got three different crops to harvest.
